INTRIGUING, low-key adaptation of the Armistead Maupin novel, with a muted Robin Williams as a late-night radio-show host.

Lost and lonely after the break up of a relationship, he takes an interest in the life of a sickly teenager who has written a book on the appalling abuse he has suffered and survived.

Nobody knows if the teenager really exists, which leads Williams on a quest to discover if he has been the victim of a hoax.
