BLACK POLICE GROUP CLEARED OF FRAUD

Monday May 28,2007

A probe into financial mismanagement at the National Black Police Association has turned up no evidence of fraud, the body said.

The Home Office imposed a funding freeze on the association last month after it emerged that no proper accounts had been filed since 2003.

A letter from the department on April 4 warned that an audit team had already found "discrepancies" in spending, and a fraud investigation could be launched.

However, the review has now been completed and action against individuals has been ruled out, according to an NBPA spokesman.

Home Office minister Tony McNulty said in a statement: "On Thursday, May 17, we received the Home Office Auditor's final report on the funding for the National Black Police Association.

"We will review the report's recommendations and work closely with the NBPA to agree the best process for taking forward the recommendations made.

"I will meet the NBPA cabinet in a month to discuss their progress on implementing the recommendations and we will continue our regular meetings where we discuss a range of issues of concern."

An NBPA spokesman said: "We are working with the Home Office to execute the recommendations, many of which have already been implemented.

"The NBPA will benefit from the systematic review of the structure and governance. We are certain the association will emerge more robust and astute to deal with national strategic issues."

Almost all the NBPA's income comes from an annual grant of £180,000, but it breached Home Office and Charity Commission rules by failing to file properly audited accounts since 2002-3. A Home Office spokesman was unable to confirm whether the NBPA's grant would now be reinstated.

No, the law is not being broken here -- Positive Discrimination is now legal. It was found to be the ONLY way to try and get their representative quota's up. As down Bristol way, when over ONE HUNDRED applicants were turned down because they were white! Like all aspects of life in the UK now, it dosn't depend on your ability anymore, just your skin colour or religion!! (The coloured, non-Christian, electrician WITHOUT any fingers will get the job first, and go to priority status if homosexual or a lesbian).

National Black Police Association?

Do we have a National White Police Association?

Do we have double standards here?

Do we have a racist set up here?

Do we have the law being broken?

Something stinks here, this Black Police Association receives government funding, do other unions?

Well come on Chairman Jock Blair answer this one, truthfully mind.

This country has been kicked into touch by BLIAR and his Jock commi regime.
Good luck.

“EQUAL OPPORTUNITY”? NOPE!

28.05.07, 6:52pm

Inside, you said it well! Absolutely; a White, Beige, Yellow or Rainbow Police Association would not be tolerated. In fact, it would be judged racist and fittingly so. However, the aforementioned, Black Police Association, there is a double-standard of credence. Why?
This is, needless to mention, not new; New Labour is extremely adroit at the double-shuffling of human rights and at the eking out of “equal opportunity”!

BEYOND THE LAW?

28.05.07, 5:16pm

This is a trade union for black police officers yet it receives massive public funding. My trade union which has black, white and brown members is quite rightly funded by our own subscriptions. This is another clear example of discrimination; not only are white police men and women banned from forming their own special interest group and they have to pay to belong to the police union that represents all police personnel!

I can almost guarantee that orders came down from on high to 'back off' pursuing this investigation for fear of repercussions and cries of 'racism'.
