MOVIE STAR LINDSAY FACES DRINK-DRIVE RAP

WILD child actress Lindsay Lohan was last night facing up to six months in jail for alleged drink-driving after crashing her car in Beverly Hills.

The 20-year-old star, who was sent a stinging letter last year by a studio boss telling her to clean up her act, could be following fellow party girl Paris Hilton to jail. Paris faces a prison term for breaking an alcohol-related driving ban.

Lindsay, who entered rehab earlier this year and has admitted to going to Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, was out with friends in Los Angeles on Saturday night when the Mercedes she was driving crashed into a kerb.

After leaving the car wrapped round a palm tree, she was arrested at a hospital where she was treated for chest injuries.

Lohan, who starred in Mean Girls and Freaky Friday and has been romantically linked to Calum Best, could face extra charges because at 20 she would be an underage drinker in the US.

DIANA AND 'HELPING TROUBLED PEOPLE!

This may be true if she were still alive. But Diana herself was a very troubled person. How can a 'Troubled Person' help others if they are themselves very troubled. Unless they seek help first, and get themselves sorted, they cannot and should not try to help others with similar problems. Its a case of 'Physician Heal Thyself First!'. I have to say, that is true. Unless the troubled person is willing to first, ask for help, and acknowledge their own problems first. They will be of no use in trying to 'sort out others'!!

DRUGS/ALCOHOL AND 'CELEBS'

Its not for anyone to say that this particular 'Celeb' is addicted. However you don't go into a 'Rehab' for addictions because you've been eating to many bananas. Whether her previous trip to 'Rehab' was a course of action advised by her publicity team, is not known. However, addicted actors and other 'Celebs' seem to think that 'Doing the Rehab Bit' will be good for their 'wild-child' image. How Wrong!!

Rehabs are not 'fashion accessories' to be 'done' just because others are doing it!! There is a serious side to addictions, and these 'Pretty, Pretty Air-Heads' seem to think its a joke!! Well this time, like Paris Hilton, she should have the 'Book thrown at Her' by the local Police and DA Office. There are allegations of traces of Cocaine being found in her car, if true, she could face up 20 years in jail. As it is, she will probably charged with 'DUI' and leaving the scence of an accident, even though she was found in a local hospital. Just how stupid do people have to get before the message sticks!!
