IS CHARLES FIT TO BE KING?
PRINCE Charles faces huge public opposition to Camilla becoming Queen despite a two-year charm offensive, a Daily Express opinion poll revealed last night.
Senior courtiers have admitted that he wants to leave the door open for his second wife to be given the title if the majority of the UK supports it.
But our poll of thousands of readers yesterday showed that nine out of 10 people are resolutely opposed to a Queen Camilla.
Two years after their wedding, the couple have still failed to win over millions of people who have concerns about swearing allegiance to two divorcees whose adultery ruined the life of Princess Diana. The latest poll comes amid fresh revelations of a secret plan to make Camilla Queen.
*But what do YOU think? Is Charles fit to be king?
Should we discard Charles and Camilla's past?
Have YOUR say.
IS CHARLES FIT TO BE KING.

No - I do not think that Charles is fit to assume the mantle of kIngship. He has proved himself to be unworthy of our trust and respect. He is clearly so out of touch with the people of this country. His demeanour is condescending and he behaves as though there is a bad smell under his nose. He clearly looks down his nose at everyone - he is the archytypal snob.
A true king has to command the respect and admiration of his people. Charles has nor deserves either. His treatment of Diana was by any standard a disgrace - and had any ordinary man behaved in such a fashion he would be shunned by any fairminded person.
Let the crown pass to William - who shows a greater sense of leadership and kinship with the people than does his father.

as a young man I thought charles worthy of the throne but he has shown his true colours through the treatment of his wife diana yes he like edward should have abdicated for his love but no he took diana as his bride knowing all along that she was just his breeding machine knowing he would never love her diana should be still alive today and would have been if she had not been conned when diana met charles she truly did adore and love him .he and his decietful mistress ruined this young girls life they both ripped it apart and what ever diana became or done was dawn to those two and the people that aided him in his spiteful decieving coniving treatment of diana fit to be king no never he may have justified what he did to his sons if i were william and harry I would have sent them both to coventry for the way they treat diana

AFTER ALL THE DAMAGE THE COUPLE HAVE DONE TO THE TWO ROYAL CHILDREN AND PRINCESS DIANA, HOW DOES CHARLES HAVE THE CHEEK TO ANTAGONISE PUBLIC BY CALLING CAMILLA QUEEN
23.05.07, 8:29pm
I fell the british pulic accepted the couple getting marriied grudgingly, but to force Camilla to be queen will be the biggest mistake.
if charles claims to "love" Camilla why does he not abdicate and go and live a quite life with her in the country, out of public eye and let William become King. We all would happily accept this option.

OF COURSE HE IS NOT FIT TO BE KING

The two year charm offensive is an abject failure. I wonder how his Public Relations people ever sold him the idea to launch one.
Could it be - "excuse me Your Royal Highness, but it seems that the your public regard you as a complete fraud, a devious man who will plumb any depth to get your own selfish way, and they only use your elderly wife for horsey jokes and to tell mobile telephone tampon stories. They appear to have no respect for either of you and it is even suggested that if you try to become King then a Republic will be established. We think that we can help ".
Can anyone suggest how they will now tell him that it is even worse?

CHARLES IS FIT FOR NOTHING!
23.05.07, 3:19pm
Neither the wimp Charles nor the trashy Mrs Parker Bowles is fit for anything. Despite her flaws, there is no question but that Queen Elizabeth the Second has dedicated and disciplined her whole life to her role. Had Charles followed her example he could have earned respect. But he does not know the meaning of dedication and he does not know the meaning of discipline. His life has been nothing but one long petulant whinge, one long peevish whine, and one long self-indulgence. As for the greedy ruthless mutton-done-up-as-lamb Mrs Parker Bowles - please, please spare us!
