Poised and relaxed, Jolie was the perfect star as the couple arrived to promote her new film A Mighty Heart.

And Pitt, 43, with his slicked-back hair and pressed tuxedo, also cut a dashing figure. He is  promoting his movie, Ocean’s Thirteen.

In Mighty Heart, directed by Michael Winterbottom, Jolie poignantly portrays Mariane Pearl, widow of US journalist Daniel Pearl.

Pearl, South Asia bureau chief for the Wall Street Journal, was kidnapped and murdered in 2002 while researching a story in Pakistan on British shoe bomber Richard Reid.
