A Chrysler's PT Cruiser combines hot-rod looks and retro style with a healthy dose of practicality, offering an off-beat alternative to the Peugeot 307, VW Golf Plus and Ford Focus C-MAX.

A Recently unveiled at the British International Motor Show, the Sebring, a four-door saloon, is due in the UK in mid-2007. It will be Chrysler's first mid-size car ? aiming to rival the Ford Mondeo and Honda Accord ? and unlike many American cars launched in the UK, will be available in righthand drive from the start. The chunky styling and scarred bonnet highlight a bold attempt by Chrysler to try to crack the family car market and we anticipate prices to start at about £18,000.
