Birmingham are without Kyle Legualt

Saturday October 4,2008

BIRMINGHAM will need to be in top gear when they defend an eight-point lead at Berwick in their Young Shield Quarter-Final tie on Saturday.

Graham Drury’s injury-hit side are once again without broken jaw victim Kyle Legault, the concussed James Birkinshaw and reserve Jack Roberts.

The rider-replacement facility will operate for Legault, Glasgow’s Anders Andersen deputises as a guest for Birkinshaw and Ben Taylor returns at reserve to cover for Roberts.

The first leg at Perry Barr on Wednesday was an entertaining affair with the BRC Roofing Brummies running out 50-42 winners.

BERWICK BANDITS: Adrian Rymel, Tamas Sike, Michal Makovsky, Tero Aarnio R/R, Paul Clews, Gugliemo Franchetti, Scott Smith.

BIRMINGHAM: Tomasz Piszcz, Kyle Legault R/R, Jason Lyons, Anders Andersen, Craig Watson, Jay Herne, Ban Taylor.
