Wilderness is effectively one song remade nine times. Consisting of piano, cello and the Anderson voice, the former Suede singer has eschewed the music business system to oversee the entire project himself on his own ‘BA’ label. The set is sombre and adult in tone, the voice and cello twisting like wisteria around themes of love and loss.
