David Beckham will tour with the Spice Girls

Sunday July 15,2007

By John Richardson

THE Sunday Express can reveal that David Beckham will snub all offers to play in the Premiership this winter – because he is set to go on tour... with The Spice Girls!

With his new MLS side LA Galaxy enjoying a close season break from November to March there have been approaches for Beckham to return to the Premiership on loan for that period.

But his management partner Simon Fuller, the brains behind The X Factor, has revealed that Beckham will devote the time to his wife Victoria and his children – even going on the road with Posh when the Spice Girls re-form for their world tour.

Victoria returns to the stage in December with the rest of the pop group for a tour that spans America, Europe and China and could last as long as three months.

Fuller revealed: “The Beckham family may be travelling together.

“David may go with them. It’s his family who are important. That is always the top line with him. David is the doting husband and father.”

A number of Premiership clubs were hoping to take Beckham on loan, but this closes the door for any return to his home shores after four years at Real Madrid.

Beckham admitted how the family unit is so important and the happiness of living in Beverly Hills, California, was an important consideration in his lucrative move to the MLS. He said: “The most important thing is to keep our children out of the limelight.

“We can’t always do that because we are a family and like to go on planes and do things with our children.”

Fuller believes that the LA lifestyle will suit the Beckhams. He said: “I think they will enjoy more privacy in LA because the area is loaded with stars. In LA they understand what fame is all about.”

DEXG8MEC- If you can't say anything better then rather not say anything at all. It's always the case with anything that David Beckham says people have got to be rude & cynical. Good Luck to him and his family, if more people cared for their families, in this world, a better place it would be. He has made something of his life where the majority of us have failed. Well done David enjoy your life to the full and God Bless your Family.
