Is Brown a bigger waste of space than Blair

Published: Thursday July 24,2008 by anyoldiron

You speak of two of this Country's freely elected Prime Ministers. To have them for eleven years should have taught ALL of us a valuable lesson.

We want someone that really WILL and CAN govern this Country don't we, for after-all, isn't that why we vote for them? Pay them for? I see absolutely no point in voting for anyone that cannot or does not want to be a true Prime Minister of this once Great Country. Yes, it has almost been destroyed by EU laws that we have followed for 35 years or so. But, providing we do not remain in the EU after 2009, this country could be put right by a true leader. We could actually work with the EU, but never, never be ruled by them again.

There is no point in voting for any Political Party that wants to remain in the EU that is actually eventually going to become one state of European Union, that is, if it does not break up before it gets there and I would rather this Country get out of it NOW before it does so. It is, as I am sure most of you know, starting to crack even now.

Brown comes across in his goodwill visits abroad as good and great, particularly so in the EU, but then he does give the latter everything they want. Sadly, the great majority of the British people do not for remember the song, "We know him so well"?

Whether this Country will survive him, of whether he will be the last Prime Minister this country has before our Government resides in Brussels, I do not know, but I do not think the people will "rest easy" in coninuing to pay for a Government here in the UK yet being Governed forever by Brussels. Particularly in these hard times when everyone is feeling the pain.

It seems strange to me that so much money has been spent on two Prime Ministers jetting off around the world when the police has to wait for pay rises and we cannot afford our NHS etc, etc.

As some-one once said, "We live in interesting times".
